Our cacao beans are unroasted. They have the bitter taste that is characteristic of raw bean. They can be roasted gently to bring out the ‘classic’ chocolate taste, and used to make “bean to bar” chocolate, raw cacao nibs.. you can also roast these in your oven and eat the entire bean as a snack.
